Awesome Theme

Just uploaded a new version of the Awesome Theme. 

Added an option to the settings window so you can choose if the homepage slideshow images open links in the same window or a new window.  

And fixed a bug where the main menu drop downs were not showing above the homepage slideshow.

Today I've added Thai Baht to the list of currencies and fixed a bug on product pages, where tag links with spaces in the tag names were breaking. 

You can either update your whole theme, or just apply the fixes described here.

Just updated the theme with a small fix to the product page.  If you had the magnify widget set to fitted inner cropping,  only the first image that loads would be fitted inner.   Clicking on the thumbnails would show you a fitted outer image. 

If you want to fix just this bug, and not update the whole theme...

in the Shopify admin,  Themes > Template Editor ...
click on "product.liquid" in the left side menu,
then scroll down to around line 75,
and find the line that looks like this:
    sFittedStyle:'{{ zoomy_fitted_style }}' // outer or inner
and change it to be:
    sFittedStyle:'{{ settings.zoomy_fitted_style }}' // outer or inner

 Added two new SEO features to the theme today.   

It now uses the new shop description field, found in General Settings.

And it now uses the image ALT text, which you can enter for each product image.

Another small change to the product pages.  With the products that have only one variation... I've added the name of the variation just below the price.  If the product variation title text is "Default Title", then it doesn't show up.

And again, I've fixed the footer so the i-beams stay where they should, in between the links.

I've added two new options in the theme settings.  You can now have 2, 3 or 4 columns of products on the home page, product collections, search results and other pages.

Also you can now choose how many products per page are shown; 12, 24, 36 or 48.

Have just updated the theme with a few fixes and changes.

The sidebar can now have a a ridiculous number of link lists, TWENTY! Previously it was set to 5.  This change should help people with large numbers of products and collections.

Fixed an extra | showing up in the footer under some circumstances.

Darkened the full price text from #CCCCCC to #999999 to make it easier to read.

IMPORTANT:  Updated jQuery to fix a bug that caused errors in some versions of Internet Explorer, in specific situations.  If you just want to fix that one issue.... replace the contents of "jquery.js" with the contents of this file.

Fixed a bug with the homepage slideshow. In very specific circumstances made the slideshow changed quickly through all the slides. Fixed!

Just uploaded a small fix to the homepage slideshow images.
They were listed as being 950x320 px and should be 960x320 px. 

Very small update today:

• Fixed a minor layout issue on the customer login page 
• Change the side bar arrows to be grey instead of green.
